Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist to lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team in Dublin, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in General Adult Psychiatry with a Special Interest in Neuropsychiatry or Psychiatry of Later Life.

  • Overall responsibility for providing high-quality mental health services to patients and residents.
  • Support the development of Clinical Governance and strategic plans.
  • Lead and develop a clinical team in the specialist neuropsychiatric service.
  • Provide teaching, research, and academic support at a senior level.
  • Collaborate with leading academic institutions.

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Full registration in the Specialist Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland.
  • Seven years post-graduation experience.
  • Registration as a general adult psychiatrist with a sub-specialised interest in either Psychiatry of Later Life or Neuropsychiatry.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to develop clinical services.
  • Ability to teach, manage, and promote the education of medical students and staff.
