We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. This role will involve developing instrument datasheets, participating in risk assessments and reviewing system designs.

The ideal candidate will have a third level degree in a relevant Instrumentation & Control Engineering discipline and a minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience. They must be fully conversant with current Irish Regulations and have excellent communication skills.

This is a multifunctional design team role which requires the ability to work well with others. The successful candidate will develop solutions/systems with automation contractors and ensure they meet client requirements.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be required to:

  • Develop system architecture for new control systems
  • Review and input into P&IDs and develop Functional Specifications (FS) and User Requirements Specifications (URS)
  • Participate in Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs), ATEX reviews and SIL assessments
