Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Accounting Manager to lead our European accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international financial regulations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations for European entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional growth.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting requirements across multiple European jurisdictions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) is highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing European accounting operations.
  • Prior experience in the logistics or internet industries is strongly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local European accounting regulations.
  • Proven experience managing a team and working in a multicultural, cross-border environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
