Packaging Technician Job Description

As a key member of our packaging team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging suite. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a keen sense of focus and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with a team of packaging technicians to complete the packaging of finished products for onward distribution.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed batch records in accordance with cGMP requirements.
  • Identify issues on the production line and alert the relevant technician to provide support in resolving these issues.
  • Carry out transactions on SAP as required to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure the packaging area is inspection-ready at all times.
  • Participate in regulatory inspections and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
  • Assist with the development, review, and revision of packing documentation as necessary.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety awareness and lead by example in adhering to SOPs, cGMP regulations, and site quality standards.
  • Proactively support process investigations and maintain an exemplary personal training record.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a highly regulated environment, such as biologics, pharmaceuticals, or medical devices, is desirable but not essential.
  • At least two years of experience operating in a team environment is required.
  • Candidates should possess a keen sense of focus and attention to detail when fulfilling exacting and repetitious tasks.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are highly valued.
