Job Opportunity

Catalyx is seeking a Packaging Technician to work on our customer site in Cork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on routine assignments, recognising deviations from accepted or usual practices.
  • Adhere to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Collaborate with other packaging technicians under the guidance of a Team Leader/Supervisor.
  • Responsible for manufacturing and packaging of customer products, assists in inspection of customer products, Clinical Trial Material and components.
  • Set up and operate Packaging line equipment, including Labellers, Cartoners and Printers.
  • Comply with all safety-related procedures and practices individually and in the area.
  • Check-weigh multi-unit cartons.
  • Perform ERP/MES transactions.
  • Follow well-defined instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments.
  • Report variance or deviation from standard procedures to Manager.
  • Take variant action with approval of Supervisor or Manager.
  • Deliver on agreed KPIs and metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • GMP experience and previous packaging experience.
  • A relevant Level 6 qualification.
  • Familiarity with written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Master Batch Records.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills with established interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to follow direction and work with only moderate supervision.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • A can-do attitude towards customer delivery and performance.
