Structural Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Expert to join our engineering practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nationwide structural surveys and produce clear, actionable reports highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed calculations and sketches using established Eurocodes and British Standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review and interpret site investigation data to identify and resolve complex structural challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality structural designs for refurbishment and new builds, covering foundations and superstructure elements, while adhering to industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering their development and promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Chartered or near-Chartered status with IStructE and/or ICE is essential.
  • A degree in Civil Engineering from an ICE-approved programme is required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in Tekla or Revit being a significant advantage.
