The role of Graduate Engineer is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about engineering and looking to develop their skills in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects, gaining hands-on experience in the field and developing their analytical and problem-solving skills.
As a Graduate Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the engineering team in the identification, analysis, design, and implementation of preventative maintenance works. You will also be involved in completing GEMBAs and designing improvements relating to site PMs for technicians involved in maintenance activities.
Key responsibilities of this role include performing data collection activities to inform the continuous improvements of current utility systems, supporting plant engineers in the completion of site surveys during the planning phase of utilities projects or performance contracts, reviewing and analyzing performance specifications for equipment from suppliers and contractors, and supporting the team in tender evaluations.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Energy, or Building Services, as well as recently or expected to graduate from a relevant course. You will also need to have knowledge in energy auditing, energy consumption forecasting, and energy modelling through life cycle and capital cost/benefits analysis.
Other essential requirements include having theoretical knowledge of industrial energy systems, a positive attitude with the ability to communicate across various levels, and excellent IT skills. Pharmaceutical sector experience is desirable but not necessary.
