Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Policy Specialist to oversee the successful delivery of our annual work plans and provide specialist support/advice to our senior management team.

The role will be responsible for managing and supporting staff, carrying out appraisals, delivering work in line with our Strategic Plan, and representing us at stakeholder engagements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing effective policies and strategies to promote energy safety;
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and skills transfer to staff members;
  • Managing and prioritizing workload to ensure timely completion of tasks;
  • Representing our organization at external meetings and events;
Requirements
  • A relevant degree (Level 8 equivalent) in regulatory policy, engineering, science, law, finance, business, or accountancy;
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a regulatory or policy-making environment.
