Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Policy Analyst to join our team at the Commission for Regulation of Utilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping Ireland's energy policy, with a focus on large energy users.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of the energy sector. They will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing data on electricity demand growth, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improving the connection policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of electricity demand growth and identify emerging trends
  • Review and provide feedback on proposed decision papers
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the connection policy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including industry experts and government agencies
