Seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Mechanical Design team. As Engineering Manager, you will oversee the execution of high-value engineering projects and drive project delivery while enhancing design productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Orientation
    • Translate customer requirements into actionable operational plans.
    • Build strong relationships with customers through reliability and responsiveness.
  • Project & Program Management
    • Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring scope, budget, quality, and timelines are met.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical deliverables with project milestones.
    • Manage evolving customer requirements without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Engineering Excellence
    • Effectively allocate resources to meet fluctuating project demands.
    • Establish and maintain engineering workflows, documentation standards, and design quality processes.
  • People & Communication
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the Mechanical Design team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Strategic Thinking & Execution
    • Apply commercial awareness of business models and customer value to engineering delivery.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years' experience in mechanical design within a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Proven track record in leading teams and delivering technical projects.
  • Strong understanding of design for GMP environments.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD systems and engineering documentation.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project coordination, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with a structured approach to problem-solving.
