Biopharmaceutical Process Specialist

About the Role:

This role is perfect for individuals seeking a challenging position within the pharmaceutical industry.

Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and safety in technology transfer and related activities. Collaborate with a team to achieve performance goals within the Vaccine Technology Transfer group.

Responsible for the technical transfer and scale-up of new processes into Vaccines IPT. Contribute to technical planning and decisions for the Vaccines IPT, ensuring timely supply of high-quality products.

Review and approve Change Control, Quality Notification, deviation, and investigation records as required. Recommend technical approaches aligned with global and local standards.

Stay up-to-date with new technologies in vaccine and biopharmaceutical processing and deploy process improvements through innovation.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement by deploying MPS on projects such as problem-solving, cycle time reduction, and Lean principles.

Maintain relationships with stakeholders across various levels. Participate in and comply with the MMD Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.

Requirements:
  • 4+ years' experience in biopharmaceutical/vaccines environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical technical/manufacturing operations
  • Experience in involvement in a technical project is an advantage
  • Preferring Lean Six Sigma qualification or experience applying Lean principles
  • Desirable Project management qualification such as Project Management Professional
