Contract Professional

We are seeking a skilled contract professional to join our team. As a key member of our analytics and contracts team, you will play a critical role in bringing clarity to contract interpretation and financial analytics.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand current processes and implementing changes where applicable. You will also establish relationships with internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and cooperation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure they receive and understand the terms of our contracts
  • IDentify non-preferred contract language and endeavor to change it when possible
  • Utilize exceptional organizational skills in managing OptumRx client contracts, including generating reports and tracking performance metrics
  • Demonstrate understanding of complex contract language to assess financial, non-financial impact, and legal implications of requested contract changes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, English, Finance, Legal)
  • Proven experience in commercial, procurement, or legal teams with a focus on contracts
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word and Excel
