Chief Development Officer

The Project Lead is responsible for overseeing and directing projects that require considerable resources. This includes responsibility for all aspects of the project from initiation to completion, interfacing with stakeholders, and directing a multi-disciplinary team to achieve project objectives.
This role requires the ability to lead medium-sized projects through the project management office (PMO), assembling a project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying necessary resources, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion. The Project Lead must also record customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions to establish project deliverables, estimate and monitor project budgets, and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for improving team performance by building cohesiveness, leading, influencing, and motivating team members to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale. They will also measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor progress, identify variances, perform corrective actions, and communicate with stakeholders.
Key skills and qualifications for this role include a level 8 degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant discipline, proven project management experience, and the ability to oversee technical advancements. The ideal candidate will also have excellent interpersonal communication, influencing, collaborative teamwork, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to integrate a team, build trusting relationships with mid-level management, and present to executives.
