Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and advance your career as a Maintenance Equipment Specialist. The role involves supervising and working as part of a Maintenance Team, ensuring the home remains updated in daily maintenance, repairs, and installations.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and interested in working in a Care of the Elderly setting, delivering high-quality services. The role requires maintaining equipment, records, contributing to continuous improvement projects, and troubleshooting faults and breakages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and working as part of a Maintenance Team and keeping Home updated in daily maintenance, repairs, and installations
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine checks to prevent downtime
  • Record and track all executed maintenance activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects overseen by Senior Maintenance Staff
  • Troubleshoot equipment faults and breakages to determine cause and investigate repairs
  • Minimise downtime on equipment, through fast response, effective root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Liaise with contractors without supervision
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral, teamwork abilities and initiative
  • Necessary to contact subcontractors where needed
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Able to perform troubleshooting tests on electrical equipment
  • Ability to Prioritise Work Schedule
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team and/or on own initiative
  • Strong technical capability with attention to detail
  • Ability to drive/own transport required
  • Strong Ability to complete Electrical work
  • Knowledge of Basic Plumbing Work
