Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. You will work closely with our production team to identify and address any equipment-related problems, and develop strategies to improve our overall efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot complex issues and develop effective solutions
- Collaborate with production team to identify and address equipment-related problems
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and schedule regular checks
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree; Time served QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft Electrical required
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting various manufacturing equipment
- Sound knowledge of CMMS and MS Office
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic/pneumatic drawings

Physical Requirements:
Medium-exerting up to 50 lb/22 kg of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs/9 kg of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs/4 kgs of force constantly to move objects.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 35 lbs. continuously and up to 75 lbs. occasionally, with or without assistance.
