Accounting Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to provide technical support and advice on all aspects of financial controls, procedures, cash flow, and budget preparation.

This role includes:

  • Providing training and support for in-house Excel-based packages, Sage 50, and Bright Accounts
  • Developing standard operating procedures and support materials
  • Offering online and remote access support and training to individuals and groups

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to carry out the role in the Irish language, be a fully qualified Accounting Technician or equivalent, and possess excellent numerical and analytical skills.

They will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with client personnel of all levels of accounting expertise, and be self-motivated with the ability to work remotely within a team environment.

The successful candidate must handle multiple tasks simultaneously, have excellent MS Office and CRM skills, and be familiar with various accounting software packages, particularly Sage 50 and Bright Accounts.

Additionally, they will need to have a high degree of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential data, and commit to meeting deadlines.
