Bookkeeping Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with experience in bookkeeping and cloud-based accounting software. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other transactions for various clients using cloud-based software.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and petty cash on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns using cloud-based software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with payroll processing, including RTI submissions and auto-enrolment.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and reports for clients, highlighting key financial metrics.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice.
  • A good knowledge of cloud-based accounting software, such as Quick Books, Xero, or Sage.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong focus on quality control.
  • A professional and friendly communication style, with excellent customer service skills.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as AAT, ICB, or equivalent (desirable but not essential).
