The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and analysing new business submissions, negotiating terms and conditions with brokers, managing and prioritising new business pipeline and work queues, and building relationships to generate and secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyse new business submissions to ensure they meet company standards and guidelines.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with brokers to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
- Manage and prioritise new business pipeline and work queues to ensure timely processing and resolution of cases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales and distribution teams, as well as external partners, such as brokers and vendors.
- Contribute to the development of new or enhanced propositions based on technical, customer, and distributor insights.
- Ensure adherence to company compliance standards and quality assurance processes.
To be considered for this role, applicants should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar industry role.
- Relevant professional qualifications, such as CIP, MDI, or ACII.
- Excellent technical insurance knowledge, including specific knowledge in Commercial Insurance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and build key relationships with partners and customers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
