Mechanical Contracts Manager

Our client, a leading contractor, is seeking an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to oversee various Mechanical installations throughout Dublin.

This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Mechanical sector, strong background knowledge of project lifecycle management, and excellent leadership skills.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate evidence of procuring, managing, and handover of Mechanical projects, as well as developing effective management plans, client relationships, and financial management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with quality.

  • Full responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion.
  • Plan, implement, and deliver projects according to program, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Management of project teams covering engineers, QS, site managers, subcontractors, and support staff.
  • Client liaison and stakeholder management.
  • Chair regular internal team, supplier, and sub-contractor meetings to coordinate and deliver project performance success.
  • Ensure accurate project documentation is completed throughout the full project life cycle.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Contracts Manager with a Mechanical Contractor or a Senior Project Manager looking to take the next step.
  • Relevant Mechanical Certification is desirable.
  • Experience within M + E services and HVAC is essential.
  • Strong understanding of technical, commercial, and contractual processes involved.
  • Must have experience in large-scale projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and create contractual requirements, scope objectives, and financial reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
