Job Overview:

A skilled electrical maintenance technician is needed to provide technical support on manufacturing equipment and ensure high levels of equipment reliability and quality product with minimum defects.

The ideal candidate will assist in achieving these goals by providing timely and effective technical support, performing preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting issues.

  • Provide technical assistance on electrical matters.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repair, and modification tasks on industrial equipment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of factory lighting and services.
  • Install wiring on new services as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified electrician to senior trades level.
  • 3-5 years experience as an electrician post apprenticeship preferably in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in facilities and PLCs essential, with experience in hydraulics and pneumatics desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • High level of safe working practices and awareness.
  • Good IT skills.
