Finance Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our finance reporting team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reports and providing financial information to support decision-making.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small team, drive continuous improvements, and contribute to the preparation and reporting of responses to parliamentary questions and Freedom of Information requests.

About the Role
  • Produce annual financial statements for the organisation and related entities.
  • Prepare and review regulatory and other reports for external bodies.
  • Provide financial information and analysis to support decision-making for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong internal controls over reporting processes.
  • Lead and support two team members in their ongoing development and performance management.
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors.
Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 6 years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, ideally within a large and complex organisation.
  • Experience in managing and developing people.
  • Strong knowledge of FRS 102.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.
