We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing, negotiation and supplier management at a senior level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with company growth objectives. They will source and select suppliers for bathroom products, tiles and related materials across Ireland and Europe.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Sourcing and selecting suppliers for bathroom products, tiles and related materials.
  • Negotiating pricing, contracts and terms to achieve cost savings and secure competitive advantages.
  • Monitoring stock levels and managing inventory to balance product availability with minimizing excess stock.
  • Identifying and tracking new market trends, innovations and eco-friendly solutions within the bathroom and tile sector.
  • Evaluating supplier performance, product quality and service levels on an ongoing basis.
  • Collaborating with showroom, sales, installation and warehouse teams to forecast demand and plan procurement.
  • Liaising with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Managing procurement systems, purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records.
  • Participating in supplier audits, product selection for showroom displays and supplier relationship management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement or supply chain role, preferably at a senior level.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and procurement or inventory management software.
  • A strong understanding of bathroom products, fixtures, tiles and industry trends.
  • The ability to manage supplier relationships and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional planning, organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field (2:1 or higher).
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) certification or equivalent.
  • An established supplier network within Ireland and Europe.
  • Experience in bathrooms, tiles, home improvement or related sectors.
  • Familiarity with eco-friendly and sustainable product sourcing.
  • Understanding of the Irish construction and home improvement market.
  • Knowledge of showroom or retail operations.
  • Additional European languages (beneficial for dealing with international suppliers).
  • Project-based procurement experience.
