We are seeking a skilled and motivated quantity surveyor to play a crucial role in managing project costs and budgets.
About the RoleThe junior quantity surveyor will work closely with senior quantity surveyors to assist in cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and monitoring expenditure throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions.
- Support the management and monitoring of project costs to ensure financial efficiency and value for money.
- Contribute to the procurement process, including preparing and reviewing contracts, tender documentation, and subcontractor agreements.
- Assist in measuring, valuing, and certifying works completed on-site.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, including cost reports, valuations, and payment applications.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, variations, and claims.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
