Job Role Summary

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for creating production-ready mechanical designs. This includes translating client requirements into detailed designs and collaborating with the project team to ensure deliverables are completed on time.

  • Support the sales team by creating sales drawings
  • Review and understand client user requirement documentation
  • Design and draft mechanical equipment in 3D and 2D formats using Solid Edge CAD (Solid Works / Autodesk Inventor)
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure deliverables are completed according to the project schedule
  • Act as a Mechanical Design Subject Matter Expert throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical support for fabrication and assembly
  • Manage change and create Variation Change Requests (VCRs) for submission to clients

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in 3D CAD software, knowledge of sheet metal design and flat patterns generation, and experience in concept design, detailed design, and producing manufacturing documentation.
