Job Title: Mechanical Design Expert
A Mechanical Design Engineer plays a crucial role in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for various industries. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for translating client requirements into production-ready designs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the sales team by creating sales drawings to showcase our products and services.
  • Review and understand client user requirement documentation to ensure accurate translation of their needs.
  • Design and draft mechanical equipment in 3D and 2D formats using CAD software to meet client specifications.
  • Collaborate with the project core team to ensure deliverables are completed according to project schedules and timelines.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in mechanical design, providing technical support for fabrication and assembly throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage variation change requests for submission to clients and ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly Solid Edge CAD system.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal design and flat patterns generation.
  • Experience in concept design, detailed design, and producing manufacturing documentation.
  • Ability to design for manufacture to enable cost-effective and timely fabrication/machining.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) used within the Life Sciences industry.
