About the Role

  • Kitchen Assistant role available at a luxurious 4-star hotel located in County Carlow.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the culinary team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your duties will include washing, peeling, and preparing food ingredients using mixers, special knives, and cutters.

You will also be required to review kitchen inventory, determine what items are needed, unload fresh supplies, and organize the stockroom. Additionally, you will need to check sell-by dates and rotate food stock, as well as clean kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes, and pans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the culinary team in preparing high-quality meals
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Review inventory and manage stock levels
  • Unload fresh supplies and maintain stockroom organization
  • Clean kitchen equipment and appliances

Requirements:

  • Ability to work shifts on weekends and be available to work 5 out of 7 days per week
