We are seeking an experienced Nursing Director to lead our nursing team and oversee the delivery of high-quality resident care.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of nursing practices and HIQA regulations.
The successful Nursing Director will be responsible for establishing and executing nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to uphold the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute nursing policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Offer guidance and support to the nursing team.
- Monitor resident care outcomes and quality metrics.
- Effectively manage staffing levels.
- Supervise training initiatives and facilitate continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate effective interdisciplinary care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree preferred).
- Qualification in Management.
- Active NMBI Registration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience within last 5 years, in a leadership role in a Nursing home setting.
- Strong understanding of nursing practices, HIQA regulations, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience managing budgets and resources.
