The Compliance Officer role plays a vital part in our operational framework, ensuring the company adheres to regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior stakeholders by providing expert advice on regulatory matters
  • Coordinate and manage regulatory interactions, including responses to supervisory requests and preparation for inspections or reporting obligations
  • Analyse and interpret regulatory developments to advise the business on their applicability and necessary responses
  • Implement a robust compliance monitoring programme to assess internal controls and ensure regulatory alignment
  • Enable the business to meet its objectives through clear, practical, and solutions-focused regulatory advice
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within an Irish financial institution, preferably in e-money or payments, with relevant qualifications and Licenced Compliance Officer (LCI) certifications
  • Extensive regulatory compliance experience in payments, card schemes, and financial technology, with strong knowledge of Irish and EEA regulatory standards
  • Expertise in developing and managing compliance programs, including monitoring, testing, and assurance, with a track record of guiding cross-functional teams on regulatory matters
  • Pragmatic and commercially-minded, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment, demonstrating high responsibility, autonomy, and attention to detail
