Employee Relations Senior Manager Role Summary:

This senior leadership position plays a pivotal role in spearheading the Employee Relations and HR Operations function for the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction to the team, manage employee relations concerns, and foster a culture of inclusivity and diversity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership to the EMEA Employee Relations and HR operations team
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the team to achieve annual objectives and advance the strategic ER roadmap
  • Act as an objective and trusted advisor for both employees and management across the region
  • Offer expert guidance, training, advice, counsel, and resolution to employees and managers on a wide range of employee relations matters
  • Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and allegations of misconduct
  • Identify and assess the scope and scale of alleged or confirmed conduct deemed inappropriate or unacceptable
  • Collaborate with legal counsel as needed
  • Lead and develop the team to effectively handle employee relations issues and concerns, minimizing corporate risk and enhancing employee experience
  • Provide strategic leadership and support to the HR Operations team to ensure operational excellence and labor compliance in all jurisdictions
  • Ensure local regulatory compliance in areas such as contract and personnel file management
  • Lead or participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures
  • Partner with Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, internal and external legal counsel, Compliance, and other internal investigative bodies as necessary
  • Provide insight and interpretation to managers and employees regarding relevant employment principles and complex employee relations issues
  • Identify gaps in process, policies, and practices; lead cross-functional teams to close gaps and optimize policies, processes, or programs
Requirements:
  • Strong ER experience gained through increasingly responsible positions within Human Resources
  • Excellent people leadership skills focused on coaching and collaboration
  • Experience leading complex projects and organizational change, driving operational excellence and improved employee experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to prioritize work and navigate ambiguity in a high-growth, fast-paced matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results through individual efforts and influencing others without authority over them
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy, tact, and business acumen
  • Objective and trusted advisor; credible employee advocate with the ability to work on a global team and manage remote employees
