Job Title:

Our organization is looking for a Senior Specialist to join the Quality Control (QC) team in executing continuous improvement projects as part of the QC Projects team portfolio.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Quality Control teams with process improvements for onboarding, training plans, and method-specific training.
  • Drive process improvements for investigation reduction and right-first-time in the QC teams.
  • Collaborate with Lean labs and automated scheduling tool teams to optimize processes.
  • Manage projects assigned to self, including planning, tracking, communication, and escalations as needed.
  • Strategically plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency using Operational Excellence tools.
  • Support operational training activities to enhance efficiency and compliance, such as supporting onboarding and other training-related requests.
  • Support transfers managed by the QC Projects team where necessary.
  • Perform activities to support drug substance release, including tracking and data collation.
  • Ensure laboratory process improvements align with the Safety culture.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of a third-level qualification (Degree) in Science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/healthcare laboratory or a related technical function.
  • A strong knowledge of laboratory operations, particularly training and testing requirements from receipt to Certificate of Analysis (CoA), is required.
  • Involvement in project scoping and tracking is desirable.
