Job Title: Strategic Data Leader

We are seeking a visionary leader to shape and lead our enterprise-wide data strategy. As Strategic Data Leader, you will be responsible for defining the vision for data and analytics, delivering on it, and ensuring the organization maximises the full value of its data assets.

  • Act as the senior interface between the enterprise transformation programme and executive stakeholders.
  • Translate business strategy into high-impact data and analytics initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Champion a culture of insight-driven decision-making across the organisation.
  • Lead the delivery of predictive models, dashboards, and advanced analytics solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Drive governance and data quality standards to ensure insights are trusted, secure, and scalable.
  • Mentor, develop, and lead a distributed team of analytics professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure analytics directly supports enterprise objectives, from revenue growth to customer experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' senior experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence leadership within large-scale or regulated environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level data programmes that unlock measurable business value.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Tableau Cloud), governance, and AI/ML applications.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional communication skills, able to influence at board and executive level.
  • Skilled at leading diverse teams and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Airline industry experience is essential.
