Job Overview:

The role of a Project Manager is to oversee the successful completion of a large scale apartment development project in Dublin. This permanent staff position requires an experienced professional to manage site staff and subcontractors, ensuring works are progressing as planned.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage site staff and all subcontractors on a day-to-day basis to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  2. Implement and monitor company health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  3. Establish and monitor the construction program to meet business objectives.
  4. Review designs and provide recommendations on buildability and cost savings while maintaining quality.
  5. Closely liaise with the contracts manager/construction director to ensure business objectives and project strategies are met and exceeded.
  6. Work closely with project QS's to manage project finances and exceed budget targets.
  7. Maintain maximum cost effectiveness through efficient use of resources.
  8. Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practices.
  9. Lead and motivate the project team to achieve project goals.
  10. Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Team management experience and ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
  • Strong knowledge of building detail and construction technology.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and time management skills.
  • Strong IT skills with use of Word, Excel, MS Project.

Benefits:

  • Salary €75K-€95k depending on experience.
