Excellent opportunity for a senior business development leader to take responsibility for both expanding existing client relationships and securing new business opportunities.
Our client is a recognised international company which delivers innovative, technology-enabled services and solutions.
You will play a central role in developing and delivering competitive bids and tenders across both public and private sectors, while contributing to broader commercial and strategic objectives.
This is a senior leadership role that combines external client development with internal team leadership, reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with the CFO and Head of Operations.
The role will lead a team of two Business Development Executives.
Responsibilities
Set strategy, manage commercial bid processes, and deliver consistent high performance across the function
Cultivate and grow a pipeline of business leads (property managers, developers, estate agents, public tenders, competitor contracts)
Develop and pitch innovative, technical parking solutions tailored to client needs
Create and lead commercial strategies to boost customer acquisition and retention
Deliver competitive bid responses—including costing, pitch writing, and proposal preparation—in conjunction with senior management
Define and track KPIs, conducting periodic business reviews and corrective action
Person Profile
Proven senior business development professional with a track record in securing multi-year B2B service contracts, through bid and tender processes
Excellent relationship-building, emotional intelligence, resilience, and rapid problem-solving skills
Experience managing small teams, mentoring, and delivering sales targets
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with experience in preparing presentations and pitches
CRM-savvy—experience with Salesforce; capable of identifying and solving customer needs
