Factory Operations Director

As a seasoned Manufacturing & Assembly Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Carlow facility. This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement weekly and daily work plans to meet productivity targets.
- Maintain close contact with facility personnel to ensure access to necessary information and materials.
- Supervise and monitor the facility labour force and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
- Determine manufacturing project schedules and provide support in their completion.
- Conduct regular safety and quality walks to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead Mechanical & Electrical fabrication, assembly, and commissioning activities to ensure timely completion.
- Experience in Project Management Systems and excellent delegation skills are essential.
- Trade background with supervision experience is crucial for success in this role.
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office and Excel, are required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential for collaboration with the team.
