Lead Travel Program Manager

We seek a highly skilled Lead Travel Program Manager to spearhead our global travel and expense ecosystem.

This role demands a seasoned professional with expertise in card programs, travel management, and expense compliance. The ideal candidate will oversee our new company liability credit card program, manage all aspects of our global travel program, and lead our expense audit process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Credit Card Program Development: Develop and enforce policies, partner with our card provider, implement card controls, and prevent fraud.
  • Global Travel Program Management: Manage travel policy development, vendor relationships, and technology platform oversight, while analyzing travel data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Expense Audit Process Oversight: Own the end-to-end expense audit process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, leveraging AI-powered audit software to identify high-risk transactions and automate the audit process.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in travel, card, and expense management, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role at a large, global enterprise.
  • Certified Corporate Travel Executive, CCTE.
  • Strong experience in implementing and managing corporate credit card programs, preferably with a company pay liability model.
  • Proven experience in managing a team, including both direct reports and managers, with a focus on mentorship and professional development.
  • Deep knowledge of expense audit processes, policy compliance, and fraud detection.
  • Experience with modern T&E technology platforms and AI-powered audit tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
