Financial Operations Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in our finance department, overseeing daily operations and ensuring timely delivery of financial reports. You will work closely with business leaders to analyze key metrics, identify trends, and provide valuable insights to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and report monthly management accounts and manufacturing dashboards
  • Perform analysis on financial results, identifying trends and highlighting issues by liaising with department managers
  • Support the preparation of annual plans, quarterly LBEs, and associated submissions as required
  • Responsible for setting variable and fixed departmental spend budgets
  • Provide information to set CIP targets and calculate Standard and System Costs for the plant

Business Partnering:

You will be a key partner to various departments, including operations, sales, and marketing. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will enable you to provide valuable support and guidance to these teams.

Education and Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly qualified individual with a degree in accounting or a related field. You should hold a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA, and have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management position within a manufacturing environment.

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent financial analysis skills and strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to prioritize objectives and duties
  • Strong leadership competencies and excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience working with SAP and Shared Service Centres is desirable

Work Environment:

As a Financial Operations Manager, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be responsible for managing a team and ensuring that all financial reporting and analysis is completed accurately and on time.
