Job Opportunity: Data Transformation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced data transformation specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL development, ideally across both modern cloud tools and classic data integration platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading data movement and transformation using a mix of cloud-native and traditional ETL technologies. This includes transferring structured data between SQL-based systems and a cloud data warehouse, with the use of object storage for centralized datasets.

In addition, the candidate will be responsible for optimizing, troubleshooting, and refactoring stored procedures, views, and legacy SQL logic. They will also integrate data from a variety of sources, including flat files and external APIs, and build reusable datasets and deliver reporting solutions.

Requirements:

  • A strong background in ETL development, ideally across both modern cloud tools and classic data integration platforms.
  • Advanced SQL capabilities, with experience tuning and updating production code.
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms and object-based storage.
  • Comfortable ingesting data from mixed sources and formats.
  • Proficient in building reporting solutions and collaborating with end users to deliver insights.
