Senior Civil Structural Architectural Lead Job

This is a highly responsible role that involves overseeing the civil, structural, and architectural components of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent leadership capabilities.

The Senior Civil Structural Architectural Lead will play a pivotal role in delivering construction and engineering projects on site. They will oversee the design, coordination, and execution of CSA packages, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and budgets. They will also be responsible for leading design team members, interfacing with end users, and collaborating with vendors.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the CSA scope of pharmaceutical construction projects.
  • Oversight of design execution for all civil, structural, and architectural scope of the projects.
  • Coordination of external design contractors to ensure architectural/engineering information meets client requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance for civil, structural, and architectural deliverables.
  • Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and vendor selection processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, changes, and approvals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., Chartered Engineer or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil, structural, and architectural roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
  • Proven experience in leading CSA packages on large-scale projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local building regulations, safety regulation & legislation, EU directives, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire multidisciplinary teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
