Job Title:

Water Treatment Process Operator


Description

The successful candidate will have a process background preferably in drinking water treatment, with some mechanical and electrical experience. The role requires routine operational duties and regular maintenance tasks, process monitoring/analysis and completing record sheets and taking process samples. On-site laboratory analysis and process optimisation are also essential functions of this position.

A qualification in instrumentation and/or science discipline is advantageous. Good use of English language and excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills are necessary for this role. Computer literacy and ability to use spreadsheets and other basic computer programmes are required. Strong analytical and problem solving skills are also essential for the Water Treatment Process Operator role.

In addition to the technical requirements, the ideal candidate will have experience in operating mechanical and electrical plant and machinery, SCADA, PLC programmes and instrumentation calibrations/servicing.

About This Role
