Job Description
The purpose of this role is to address the proposed decision paper on the Large Energy Users connection policy. This involves setting a pathway for new data centre customers to connect to the electricity grid while ensuring security of supply and network constraints.
Key Objectives- To minimize potential impacts on national renewable energy targets and carbon emissions;
- To facilitate the connection of new data centres to the electricity grid in an efficient and secure manner.
Responsibilities include:
Responding to CRU consultation papers, reviewing proposals, and providing feedback.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet business objectives.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to large energy users and data centres.
Providing excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with data centre operations and large energy users is highly desirable.
