Job Title: Site Engineer

Project Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Dublin City Centre. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
  • Your primary focus will be on reading and interpreting drawings to ensure works carried out are in line with the drawings and designs.
  • You will work closely with sub-contractors and personnel on site in the planning and construction of the project, supporting the Senior Engineer/Project Manager/Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out and checking works as required for the project.
  • Liaising with sub-contractors and site personnel to plan and coordinate works.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with the construction management team and site personnel.

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a site engineering role, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to use setting out instruments and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
