Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Information Manager to lead the development and implementation of information management strategies for rail projects.
  • Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance strategies to ensure compliance with BIM, ISO standards, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Project Documentation: Coordinate and manage project documentation, including data storage, retrieval, and archiving.
  • Digital Tools: Support the design and implementation of digital tools and systems for project collaboration.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Manage the quality assurance of project data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Information Management Planning: Lead the creation and maintenance of project information management plans.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to project teams on information management best practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to optimize information flow.

About the Role:

This is a key role within our consultancy team that requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and technical skills. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering, information management, or a related field, and at least 10+ years of experience in information management, preferably within the rail or infrastructure sector.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience in information management, ideally within the rail or infrastructure sector.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of BIM implementation, data management systems, and information governance, familiarity with Irish and international standards for information management in rail projects, excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
