Lead Rail Infrastructure Projects Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the successful delivery of major rail infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role offers the opportunity to drive business development, client engagement, and strategic growth in the rail sector services market.

  • Deliver complex rail infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies, aligning with industry best practices and regulations.
  • Manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies, transport authorities, contractors, and local communities.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support business development activities, including bid preparation, client presentations, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior staff.
Requirements
  • A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Chartered status with a recognized professional body is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management, with a strong track record in delivering rail or transportation infrastructure projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish rail infrastructure regulations, standards, and procurement processes.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in contract management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
