Senior Rail Project Lead

This is a high-profile opportunity for an experienced Senior Rail Project Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and external consultants, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including government agencies, transport authorities, contractors, and local communities.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
  • Support business development activities, including bid preparation, client presentations, and identifying new opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior staff.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • Chartered status with a recognized professional body is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in project management, with a strong track record in delivering rail or transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of rail infrastructure regulations, standards, and procurement processes.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and working within a consultancy environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience in contract management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
