Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day electrical maintenance of all machinery, services, and facilities within our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide technical support to manufacturing operations, resolving electrical engineering problems and initiatives to ensure production ability is maintained and maximised.
  • To undertake electrical maintenance cover for production, ensuring that breakdowns and other issues are resolved promptly and downtime is minimised.
  • To utilise systems to log, record, and close Active Maintenance work, as well as Reactive Maintenance work through the Maintenance Request Data Base.
  • To undertake project work from installation to commissioning, implementing changes to the plan and refining them as necessary.
  • To provide technical support within the engineering department, to other operational departments, and external contractors to identify and implement the best solutions.
  • To attend and contribute to team meetings, driving departmental performance to support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
  • To conduct daily risk assessments on workstations, machines, and production floor, reporting any maintenance requirements in line with health and safety regulations.
  • To aid with lock out tag out system, conducting effective shift hand overs to Team Leaders and Management, and undertaking PAT testing under Fire Safety Regulations N.I.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication skills.
