Job Overview

The role of Key Holder at our retail store is an exciting and challenging position that requires a passion for sport and excellent customer service skills. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging retail experience for our customers.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, and we are seeking an experienced Sales Assistant who can provide a personal and positive experience for every customer who visits our stores.

Main Responsibilities
  • In the absence of management, the Key Holder will be responsible for opening and closing the store, end-of-day recovery, deliveries, stock management, and cashing up at the end of the day.
  • Assign tasks to staff and ensure correct procedures are followed.
  • Engage with customers, build relationships, and offer personalized product recommendations to optimize sales.
  • Lead by example in maintaining excellent visual merchandising standards in-store.
  • Operate tills, handle financial transactions, and deliver a great last impression to our customers.
  • Be security-conscious within the store and stockrooms, monitoring potential shoplifters and following security guidelines to deter theft and protect stock.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
  • A minimum of two years' retail experience is required.
  • A warm, friendly, and engaging personality is essential.
  • Great communication skills – outgoing, energetic, and focused on delivering a great customer experience.
  • Strong product knowledge.
  • Experience in Visual Merchandising is desirable.
  • Ability to manage workload and delegate tasks.
  • Must be trustworthy and honest.
  • Proficient computer skills; particularly Excel, Word, and email.
