Assistant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our retail team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of our store and contributing to the overall success of our business.

About the Role:

  • Support the Store Manager in maintaining high standards of customer service, sales performance, and stock accuracy.
  • Assist with staff recruitment, training, and development to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Contribute to the development of promotional plans and events to drive sales and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and handle challenging situations in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to understand and analyze sales figures daily to enable the store to trade within Company parameters and goals.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for our products.
  • Able to complete regular computer-based training to ensure exceptional product knowledge.
  • Able to be agile and flexible to multitask and achieve the best results.
