Community Nurse - Public Health
Job Description:This role involves working as a community nurse within Primary Care in the PHN service. The successful candidate will work with clients in their homes and also in the clinic setting, requiring travel around South Dublin.
Care is delivered from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with flexible hours available. Onsite training and orientation are provided by HSE staff.
The ideal candidate will have excellent upskilling educational opportunities and be eligible for paid NMBI registration.
As a community nurse, you will be responsible for wound care management, diabetes management, incontinence assessment, and general nursing care for chronically ill or disabled patients.

Access to own transport is required for this post, and work authorisation is mandatory. Additionally, NMBI registration as an RGN and community nursing experience are preferable but not essential.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, be able to work autonomously, and demonstrate empathy and understanding of client needs.
