Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - North West Region

Our client, a leading construction company in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial functions across all project stages in the North West region.

This strategic role will involve managing tender submissions and cost plans, conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates, and overseeing subcontractor procurement strategy and coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial acumen, cost control skills, and proficiency in measurement, BOQ production, and cost reporting tools.

  • Preparation and management of tender submissions and cost plans
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates
  • Subcontractor procurement strategy and coordination
  • Risk assessment and mitigation input at early stages
  • Full commercial management from commencement through to final account

The successful candidate will have a degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a main contractor or large subcontractor environment. They will also possess sound knowledge of Irish building contracts and strong commercial skills.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 years of QS experience in a main contractor or large subcontractor environment
  • Sound knowledge of Irish building contracts (RIAI, GCCC, etc.)
  • Strong commercial acumen and cost control skills
