Job Title: Fleet Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cordinate the administration and coordination of the company's fleet, including vehicle allocation, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for routine maintenance and inspections of all fleet vehicles to ensure they remain in optimal condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, registrations, and other pertinent information.
  • Liaise with external vendors, such as repair shops and parts suppliers, to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance and repairs.
  • Stay up to date on federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to fleet operations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor fuel usage and implement strategies to optimize fuel efficiency and reduce costs.
  • In collaboration with the safety team, coordinate driver training programs to ensure safe and responsible operation of fleet vehicles.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of administrative experience; fleet experience highly desired.
  • Dependable, self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skill Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fleet management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, technicians, vendors, and management.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Fleetio & Samsara, Microsoft Excel, and other office productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements governing fleet operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of DOT compliance preferred.
